Landscapes also require tree and shrub care maintenance in the form of annual shrub pruning.  Shrubs, bushes, perennials and some small tree branches should be pruned annually for several reasons.

One reason being, it maintains optimal appearance and reduces over growth. Another reason being that shrub pruning and thinning out allows better air circulation. This will assist in preventing diseases from developing.

The timing of the shrub pruning & tree maintenance is essential for flowering varieties. The rule of thumb is spring flowering shrubs and trees are pruned immediately after they`ve bloomed. Summer and early fall blooming shrubs are pruned in the late fall or early spring as the blooms tend to grow during the current season.

Perennials should be cut back annually in earlier spring to allow new growth to flourish.
